ZION Skatepark in Watkinsville

I had a chance to check this place out today. It was HOT as any warehouse in the Georgia summertime…CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS

The main concrete floor is smooth and fast…the ramps are smooth, with masonite surface…nice solid, well built stuff. The mini is a fun little no-hangup ramp. Great for learning…and alotta fun for more experienced riders…first time I’ve done a frontside smith in ages…<G>

overall, the park is well suited to beginner-intermediate riders…nothing super-gnar, although the 18′ wall ride is waaaay massive. The staff said they plan to build more features(which should add more flow to the park).

$5 per hour, open thursday-sunday.  I think the sign said Adult Skate Night is thursday evening.
