it was a pleasant Thursday afternoon session at SPOA…and then the Bacon crew showed up and tore the place apart!
they’re heading towards Atlanta next. Go check’em out and see some world class ripping…and take notes!

Tony Alva at Progressive Skatepark!

Progressive Skatepark Customer Appriciation Day……Wednesday March 25th.
Progressive along with our friends at Vans are doing it again. Steve VanDoren and the crew from Vans will be stopping by the park in the Vans Motorhome and cooking up dinner for everyone. It’s worth the trip just to have one of Steve’s signature Waffles on a stick. Rolling with Steve will be Dogtown Skate Legend Tony Alva. This is BIG! Tony was my skate idol when I was a teenager. Can’t wait, he’s one skater I’ve never met. Not only will we be have lot’s of free food, they’ll also be FREE Skating ALLDAY!!! Throw in on top of that all the free goodies that the Vans guys will be bringing and you will agree that this is one of the best days of the year at Progressive. Last year everyone walked away with something. These guys do things better than anyone else! I’m sure we’ll also have some type of contest going on along with a demo from the Drifter / Progressive Teams. It’s going to be a great day! The park will be open at noon that day.
