okay, so there’s “No Skating” signs, and the kids should pay attention. But even so…a 250lb lardass cop putting a little kid in a headlock and throwing him to the ground for calling him “dude”??? and then stealing his skateboard? (if a cop takes your property, they are supposed to give you a property reciept…) funny how the dude notices the camera(and throws more threats) after he’s done what he KNOWS is wrong…what a kook.
do cops do the same thing to adults who park in a “No Parking” zone? or cigarette smokers at ACC parks? NO. It’s all about picking on those who you can intimidate. always has been.
Like dumping a quadriplegic out of his wheelchair…pick on the ones you can beat up. wooohoo, Go Cops!!!

it looks like most of the skate terrain is done.(but remember, the POlice store is right there…)
now they need to finish the decks/sidewalks, landscaping, etc.
so hopefully, it won’t be long now!
in the meantime, there’s plenty of new concrete to be enjoyed…

brook run (pool, flow, street)
FYI…nobody skates dumb ol’ spoa anymore. I heard they’re gonna make it into a Catfish Pond as soon as the weather warms up a bit. and then they’ll stock Rainbow Trout in the winter. They said you gotta use barbless hooks and you gotta pay-to-fish. laaaaaaame. friday nooner might be “last grinds”…

We went down to Tybee for the day…it was a nice beach day, a little cloudy/foggy in the morning, but it got sunny with mid 80s temps…and nobody else on the beach. The waves were clean lines about knee high. nothing spectacular…but better than being inland, for sure!
River Street was pretty mellow…we call-A-cabbed and enjoyed the scenery.
overall, it was a good day.

awesome broke away from the pack, right at the start…I was trailing him by a few yards, just waiting on him to mess up.<G> As James was screaming down the mountain(literally and figuratively), he skeered some dude who decided to fall down and butt slide across my path. and so I had to slam on the brakes. James was quite the gentleman competitor…he stopped and waited on me to get back going. This gave robin webgurl the chance to fly past us into first place. Me and James continued the chase, and moved back into 1st/2nd places. I kept right on his tail all the way down…I could keep up just fine, but couldn’t match his disregard for the safety of those in front of us…heh heh heh. skeered people kept falling down as we headed for the lodge at Mach Speed. I could hear the loudspeakers at the lodge, as we rounded the final bend…”and it’s Awesome James in the lead…and it looks like yes….yes…AWESOME WINS! AWESOME WINS!!!”
