Chris is heading west to become a welding guru! The entire staff at GEORGIASKATER.COM wish him the best of luck skill in his new adventures. I’m hoping for a little SPOA session after lurnch. Chris said he would be around spoa “pretty much all day”, so go by and grind some bricks for him…do you remember the sound? do I need to spell it out for you? are you getting a new surfboard and some tasty winter swells tomorrow? and more sweet waves the day after? and the day after that? etc? heh heh heh, I am.

To all the folks I’ve met and skated with this year…thanks for the opportunity. Let’s get back on that stoke and fun…sunday mornings at spoa ain’t the same without y’all!

To the skatepark employees who refer to spoa as “the enemy”, and to the keyboarders that are trying to ruin our local skateboarding scene…get over it. skateboarding needs support, not stupid hating factions. get along and ride skateboards. that’s what I thought it was about…come out to the Church of the Concrete Curl, sundays at SPOA. gates open at 8. you’ll find good people having fun.

To all the SKITCHERS out there…it’s dangerous, don’t do it.  serious man…don’t.

To 720grine…you got’em again. whatever, their lives must be so complex. proving once again, they think about me too much…

anyways…I hope everyone gets over their injuries and stays safe through 2008!

ps…I’ll missSPOA Sunday this week. I’ll be on a FL Christmas Roadtrip…Christmas Eve swells in the Gulf(Venice/Sanibel), Christmas swells at Palm Beach(73deg water), and up to StAug before turning inland from Tybee/Wet Willies.

HEY…

does anyone have pictures of the carlsbad skatepark when it was a catfish farm? just before it became Mike Mcgill skatepark? I got an episode of SK8-TV where McGill’s got his vert ramps in the old concrete bowls…and they still had fishin signs up and stuff.

and howzabout the Reseda SkaterCross and Shreddy Repas and all that. Ponch and Jon skated it in CHiPs episode 205 or 206, I can’t remember which.
