Kona has a VERT contest…and the oldest age group is 14 and over???

The old guys need another movie to over-glorify the past. When the Dogtoon movie came out, old guys got respect for a minute. They bought their “oldschool” boards, went to the mall skateparks, scratched their trucks…but where are they now? NOT SKATING.

who the heck cares.

I’d rather skate with the younger crew anyway…they know how to push it and go for it and take a hit and bleed for it.

it was a blast to pull up to spoa this morning, and see my skate brothers out there…no clueless kiddies, no dumbhead adults, no inconsiderate kooks blasting “their” music…just some good folks, enjoying some good times, good skating and all that. sweet. thanks for showing up and throwing down. fun, that’s the meaning of life.
